Itinerary:
DAY 01: THU MARCH 28, 2013 - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport,
you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities,then transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 02: FRI MARCH 29, 2013 - You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Optional excursion to Abu Simbel available. (Your flight continues to Abu Simbel. Visit the Great Temples of Ramses II. Stand before the colossal statue of the Pharaoh with smaller statues of his wife Nefertari and daughters at his feet. After this visit, fly to Aswan.).Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be transferred to your Deluxe Nile Cruise Boat for a 4-day/3-night Nile cruise. Accommodations aboard will consist of an Outside Cabin with private facilities. After Lunch, afternoon sail by felucca for an outside visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island.

DAY 03: SAT MARCH 30,2013 – Breakfast on board. Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, Philae Temple, and the Granite Quarries.Sail to Kom Ombo. Afternoon visit to the Temple shared by two gods Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo.
Sail to Edfu. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)
DAY 04: SUN MARCH 31, 2013 – Breakfast on board. Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all the large Egyptian Temples. Sail to Luxor. Upon arrival, Visit Luxor Temple dedicated to the god Amon-Ra. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added statues of himself. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple
Optional Sound and Light Show available this evening. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)
DAY 05: MON APRIL 01, 2013 – Breakfast on board. Cross the Nile to the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut Funerary Temple, and the Valley of the Kings and Queens. After disembarkation, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor. Overnight in Luxor.(B)
DAY 06: TUE APRIL 02, 2013 – Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 07: WED  APRIL 03,2013 - Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza built for Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, and the defending Sphinx. After lunch, proceed with your visit to Memphis and Sakkara. Optional Sound and Light Show available this evening. Overnight in Cairo. (B/L)

DAY 08: THU APRIL 04, 2013 - Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Moallaka Church where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. Spend the afternoon at Citadel and Mohamed Aly Mosque.

DAY 09: FRI  APRIL 05, 2013 - You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your return flight. (B)

ITINERARY
Day 1 : Upon arrival to the magical Land of the Pharaohs, we will be met by Avatar Travel representative to collect our luggage and escort us to our hotel for an afternoon of rest and relaxation from our flight.
Day 2 : This morning we start with Giza Plateau to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, The Great Pyramid of Giza. Standing approximately 136 m (446 feet), it is the last of the ancient wonders still standing. Included in our optional tour is a visit to the Solar Boat that was discovered buried deep in a pit behind the Great Pyramid itself. After lunch at a local restaurant we will proceed to the Egyptian Museum which includes the world’s largest collection of artifacts including the famous treasures of the Boy King Tutankhamen. (B,L)
Day 3 After breakfast we will transfer to the airport for the one hour flight to Aswan and connecting flight to Abu Simbel.(optional Abu Simbel)
Built by Pharaoh Ramessis II as a tribute to himself and his beloved queen, Nefertari, during the 13th century BCE these four colossal statues stand 20m (60 feet) tall and 35m wide. In 1964 efforts were begun to relocate the temple due to the rising waters (Lake Nassar) from the newly built Aswan High Dam. After our visit we will take the short flight back to Aswan where a representative will escort us to our luxury cruise ship. After lunch we will begin our sightseeing by touring the Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis, and Unfinished Obelisk. (B,L,D)
Day 4 : Sail on the Nile by felucca enjoying the botanical gardens of Kitchener’s Island. This small island was given to Lord Kitchener for his service during the Sudan Campaign (1896-1898) The area is now a preserve with all wildlife and waterfowl protected by environmental law. During lunch we sail to the temple of Kom Ombo.  This temple is unique in that it is the only double temple in Egypt  dedicated to the crocodile God Sobek and Haroeris, the winged solar disk. After our evening visit we sail to Edfu to visit the Edfu Temple dedicated to the God Horus.
Day 5 After breakfast, visit Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, (237 B.C.) considered one of the best-preserved temples in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak, sail to Esna. Sail to Luxor and upon arrival, visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Sail to Luxor via Esna. Upon arrival, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. ( B, L, D )
Day Breakfast and disembarkation from your cruise, visit the Valley of the Kings with its many tombs chiseled deep into the cliff sides. From the 18th to the 20th Dynasty, the Memphis area and pyramid-style tombs were abandoned in favor of the West Bank of the Nile in Thebes. Proceed to the Valley of the Artisans, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshipsut at Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo, transfer to your hotel. (B)
Day 7 : After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. (B)
